My sisters and I hosted a baby shower for our dear sister in law this past Sunday. It was a bird themed Sunday brunch and it was tons of fun!

We had a VERY busy weekend but we set aside a little time to build a fairy village.

We made this cookie in the shape of Minnesota for Morgan's state project! It was a lot of fun and it was delicious!

Mo

Just found out today that Mo has ADD. BIG SURPRISE!!!! I need some help researching natural approaches to helping her with this. I am really worried that once she hits middle school she will need lots of help. Please.......any ideas will be appreciated.

Reflection

All of my dear friends with children,
Please prepare yourself now. And my dear friends, if you have daughters, prepare yourself two times over. The teenage years are coming for you!!!! I love my teenagers dearly and I truly enjoy them but I feel like I have gotten on a ride at Magic Mountain and I can't get off. I am trying so hard to show my teens that I was a teen once too and that I know that it can be difficult. I want to let them make their own mistakes and we are TRYING to allow them to learn from them on their own but it is soooooo hard. Obviously we are having a rough "teen" week. There has been lots of crying and stomping of the feet but I am trudging through. I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.....errr.....reading.

Whew!

We had a VERY busy Saturday! First off, Matt informed me that he ordered me a Lisa Leonard necklace for Mother's Day, which was ironic because I had ordered one for myself for him to give to me! tee hee :o) So looks like I am getting 2 fabulous necklaces! Yay!
Unfortunatly, my new necklaces won't be here for 3 weeks so Matt drove me to Sears and bought me a freezer. Ugh and that just prompted several projects!!!! We cleaned the garage, reorganized everything and filled the freezer.
As if that wasn't enough, we had a truck load full of flowers that needed to be planted so we did that as well. I am so tired I don't even want to make dinner. It is extremely satisfying to tackle awaiting projects though.
So tomorrow in the beautiful morning light I will take some pictures of my newly planted flower garden.

In Season

Due to the overwhelming demand for Averie's homemade jam, and yes I mean overwhelming, guess what we did today?? More Jam!!!! It has become a favorite of the PB&J fans in our life. Averie is having so much fun being a little entrepreneur as well. Not to mention that she gets to taste every batch. For quality control purposes, of course.
