Melt 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips in the microwave.
(I used Ghiradelli 60% Cacao)
In a bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt.
With a mixer cream together 1 cup softened butter, 1 1/3 cups brown sugar, 1/2 cup sugar until fluffy.
Beat in melted chocolate.
Add 2 eggs & 2 tsp vanilla and mix until blended.
Add the flour mixture and stir until just blended.
Stir in 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips & 1 cup chopped pecans.
